Mercure Sydney Bankstown

We have stayed at the Mercure Bankstown three times in two months, and each time the rooms have met our expectations. However, during our most recent stay on August 3, 2025, while our room was clean, the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained used disposable nappies and liners. Since we arrived after housekeeping had finished for the day, management offered to move us to another room. However, we were too tired from a long day of travel to make the change. As a gesture of goodwill, management offered us free breakfast for the inconvenience.

The lobby has quite an impressive water feature and there is a good amount of choice of eateries. The self check in terminal was quick and convenient, particularly since I was checking in late.

The Hotel is very well located for my regular visits, I enjoy spending time in the Sports Club, Hotel very convenient location for my family who all live in Sydney. Rooms are very good, clean & comfortable. Front office staff always greet you with a smile, very friendly team.

The reception staff were incredibly kind and professional. Free parking! The rooms were spacious and beds very comfortable. I needed some more dishwashing liquid and the staff were prompt and kindly delivering more. The showers were hot and towels nice and fluffy. The buffet breakfast was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were very friendly. I requested some fried eggs instead of the scrambled they had on offer and it was no hassle for them. The accommodation is a very short walk away from the train station.
